New Gremlins Game Coming from NECA

A long while back we talked about a possible Gremlins Heroclix or Horrorclix set.
Well, sadly Wizkids closed up shop before that could happen. However the company was eventually brought back to life for the most part by NECA, who is known for their movie-licensed toys and collectables.
Well folks, looks like we have a mock-up of what the Gremlins ‘Clix game may look like! (Keep in mind, there is no official release date as of yet.)
Gizmo’s Great Escape featuring 6 figures that are based on the sculpts of the Gremlins action figures.
As we learn more information, it will be posted here, and they will be available at your Friendly Local Game Store, be sure to ask for them when they come out!

Any Gremlins stuff is cool, of course, but I just wish they would cut it out with the “Gremlins-2-style” Gizmo ALL the time! Even on the newer releases of the original film, they put his G2 style image on the front – which is definitely not right!
This is not to say I don’t love Gremlins 2, and his look in it is fine with me…but when they make a set with Stripe and everything, they should have Gizmo look like he did in the first film! That’s how he looks best, anyway, but that’s not even the point.
(By the way, the George Gipe book claims that a Mogwai doesn’t physically age.)
is the release date ready yet? at least put something new on the site. ( the fan art i sent you 1 month ago, a video dedicated to gremlins that we made.)
You could always email Neca about it yourself rather than asking here. They have a website, and a customer service email address which is easy to find.
Just think. New game 3 decades after d movie
I emailed Neca, and they did confirm that the game is being produced, but haven’t yet finalized it for sale… so they didn’t have any further information about the details, or an estimated time frame.
Can’t wait to see these, finally something Gremlins-related to look forward to! 😀

It would be really appreciated if you could take the time to write your words out and proofread a bit, you will get more responses that way.
Either way, no this is not a video game. This is a collectable miniature game similar to HeroClix or HorrorClix.
What is heroclix / horror clix? I’m 11 3/4 years old
