Win a copy of Jerry Goldsmith’s Gremlins (1984) score from Ain’t It Cool News!!!
One of the most asked questions I have gotten in my emails over the years is: “Where can I get the Score to the first film on CD?” My response always is “Sorry, it doesn’t look like you will be able to.”
Until now.
Retrograde Records is releasing the amazing score by Jerry Goldsmith on CD very shortly, and Ain’t It Cool News is giving a few copies away.
Of course I entered, and you all should too!!
Check it out at the link! They have pictures and more as well!

New Gremlins Toys available for order in Previews!
Hey Folks
Quick update here, I just got my hands on the September issue of Previews (#276), which shows off new comic books and toys coming out in the near future.
On page 384 it shows off the 3 new NECA Gremlins action figures, Daffy, Flasher Gremlin and George.

If these are the final sculpts, they look spectacular, just like the ones we saw previewed at SDCC earlier this year!
As you can see in the “Click To Embiggen” picture, they are scheduled to ship sometime in November and come 3 to a case, and should retail for $17.99 each.
Want to guarantee yourself these awesome figures? Stop by your local comic, hobby or gaming shop and ask them if they do special pre-orders from Previews. (Kryptonite Kollectibles is a great place to order them if you are near Southern Wisconsin of course I am biased since I work there. ) Offer to pay a percentage down or just pay them off right away and almost any store will be more than happy to order them for you! Then you just need to count the days until you get that phone call that your awesome Gremlins figures are in-stock!
Show your local businesses that Gremlins are a great investment, and you may meet a few new Gremlins fans along the way!
{Gremlins Online Exclusive!} Intro Footage from the unreleased Gremlins PS2/Gamecube game
Folks, this is the big news I have been wanting to share with you for a very long time now.
Let’s just get to it.
This was given to Gremlins Online over a year ago, with the understanding that it not be made public for at least a year, and that it would not be available for download.
The game was looking pretty unique, and the footage would have been universal for the PS2 and Gamecube versions.
A fascinating tidbit learned from a source that wishes not to be named; after finishing a milestone in the project, there was simply no communication or response from the publishing company and no further instructions on the Gremlins project. It simply disappeared. Apparently those involved with LSP were used to this kind of behavior, often going weeks or even more without any communication from the project leads. Since then, all involved have moved onto new (and hopefully better) projects, but I am proud to share this bit of footage with you.
I am personally intrigued that Warner Bros allowed LSP to make such radical departure from established canon in the form of the Mogwai Council, as well as having Gizmo reproduce a new version of a long-dead enemy. Again, I don’t really know how much WB had approved, and these changes might have something to do with the game’s termination.
Again, I apologize that I cannot offer the video for download, but I hope you are as excited as I am to finally get to enjoy a little bit of the game that never was.
More info to come soon!
