Gremlins Online!
Your home for all things Gremlins
BIG NEWS! Video of The Great Gremlins Adventure!!!!
This is what many many of us have been looking for, actual footage of the legendary Great Gremlins Adventure (AKA Gremlins Invasion)
It has terrible sound, is grainy and the colors are off…oh and it is in german. If anyone can translate what Alf is saying…please send it in right away!
Now I wish i could get to Warner Bros Movieworld and ride the ride itself!
The plot seems to be where you go on a tour of Warner Brothers studios, guided by….ALF, and the gremlins take over, so you are trying to escape while gizmo and ALF try to stop the gremlins. Not the world’s greatest plot, but heck, most people thought this ride was a myth, but now there is even more proof that this cheesily fantastic ride exists.
Alf in german frightens me though…I am not sure why.
Movin’ On Up!
I was just checking the incoming links and noticed Gremlins Online is listed #93 of todays “Blogs of The Day”!
http://botd.wordpress.com/2006/12/23/growing-blogs-243/
That is pretty awesome, today #93…tommorow, who knows, Gremlins Online could be…….#92!
Also, a note in response to a few emails and noticing the search terms that have brought some people here, you will not find the full movie of Gremlins or Gremlins 2: the new batch here. Nor will you find links to streaming versions of them, which apparently exist.
Look, the movies can be found in almost any format, for less than 15$….cheaper if you buy them used, or buy them together!
Just go out, buy them, or rent them from your local video store.
If you are a fan of Gremlins, I really feel it is best that you support the filmmakers and show them that there is a market for Gremlins 3, and that will not happen if everyone just downloads the movies. Vote with your wallets folks!
Buy Gremlins 1 AND 2 for cheap at amazon.com!
(For those who don’t want to look up the info themselves.)

I just want to make sure that we are doing our part to encourage the studios to continue with our favorite film franchise, and they will only do that if they see that we will spend good money on a feature film!
Starting 2007 off with a bang!
Another year has come and another has gone, and it is amazing to think that it will soon have been 23 years ago that Gremlins first graced the silver screen…how time flies.
One of our readers, Vince (aka SteVin89) got into the holiday spirit recently with a fantastic Gremlins music video!
This is definitely one of the best Gremlins music videos so far, with a lot of polish and talent showing through.
He has some more videos on his youtube profile, so check them out! http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=SteVin89
While I am not a big fan of Mariah Carey, she did a rather decent rendition of Christmas (Baby please come home), which is featured in this video. It is kinda funny, when growing up watching Gremlins over and over…and over….and over…the quality of the sound was nowhere near the digital standards of today, and as Christmas (Baby please come home) plays during the opening titles, my young brain associated the title GREMLINS with the chorus of “Christmas” and for quite a few years I thought that they were singing “GREMLINS” (not “Christmas”). I am really not sure when I figured out that it wasn’t Gremlins being said, but Christmas…..
Nonetheless, the song has a special place within me, as it is the song that makes me think back to hours sitting on the couch curled up with a gremlins coloring book or sticker book and trying my damnedest to keep my feet away from that gap between the couch and the floor…..cause you never can tell….there just might be a gremlin in your house.
The hectic holidays are finally dying down, and now I will personally have some more time to devote to the site, so keep those videos, pictures, and comments coming!
Did you find any gremlins? Did you get any pictures of some delicious gremlins cookies? Send them on in, and I will throw them right up on the site. Jypsy27@gmail.com
Merry Christmas!
Santa Gremlin has come early this year, with some big updates!
First, and most notably, we now have a Wallpaper section! I have gotten quite a few request to have some of the most memorable scenes in Gremlins and Gremlins 2 available for your computer background, and here is the first batch.
11 fantastic wallpapers of fanart and Gremlins 1 for you! If you look in the sidebar, you will see thumbnails of the most recent wallpapers appear there, so check them out if you see any you might like to stare at all day!
If that isn’t enough to knock your socks off, check out the new “Lost Games” section, dedicated to the never-released Playstation 2 and Gamecube Gremlins Games!
Wowzers!
I hope everyone has a great holiday and get ready for a ton more gremliny fun in 2007.
How to Gremlinize your holidays!
After having my yearly Christmastime viewing of Gremlins, (a traditon I have had since I was a young tater tot) I realized that many people may not have any ideas on how to incorporate Gremlins into their holdiay merriment.
Note: If you are like Kate, and don’t celebrate christmas, well then just think of these as fun ways to spend this wintery season…
1. Watch Gremlins. (Preferrably with someone who hasn’t seen it, or with family)
This one is a no-brainer. It has everything you could want in a christmas movie, Scroogey Mrs Deagle, eggnog addicted cops, Snowplows crashing through WWII Vet’s homes, and santa with a Gremlin on his back!
Ok, well maybe those aren’t the greatest examples of why Gremlins is an uplifting holiday film, but the movie really reminds us that we should be thankful for what we have, and remember each day is a gift. Things could change with a drop of water, a scrap of food, or a wrong move while coming down a chimney on Christmas eve.
If you don’t own Gremlins yet, rent it, or better yet, buy it! The special edition can be found all over fora reasonable price, and is well worth it!
2. Make Gremlins or Mogwai Cookies!
Find an elf cookie cutter, and modify it slightly, (stars work well for the triangle-like ears.)
Make your favorite type of cookies, cut them out, and then add green or brown icing, and cinnamon drops for eyes 🙂
(More ideas after the break!)
