{Gremlins Online Exclusive!} Intro Footage from the unreleased Gremlins PS2/Gamecube game
Folks, this is the big news I have been wanting to share with you for a very long time now.
Let’s just get to it.
This was given to Gremlins Online over a year ago, with the understanding that it not be made public for at least a year, and that it would not be available for download.
The game was looking pretty unique, and the footage would have been universal for the PS2 and Gamecube versions.
A fascinating tidbit learned from a source that wishes not to be named; after finishing a milestone in the project, there was simply no communication or response from the publishing company and no further instructions on the Gremlins project. It simply disappeared. Apparently those involved with LSP were used to this kind of behavior, often going weeks or even more without any communication from the project leads. Since then, all involved have moved onto new (and hopefully better) projects, but I am proud to share this bit of footage with you.
I am personally intrigued that Warner Bros allowed LSP to make such radical departure from established canon in the form of the Mogwai Council, as well as having Gizmo reproduce a new version of a long-dead enemy. Again, I don’t really know how much WB had approved, and these changes might have something to do with the game’s termination.
Again, I apologize that I cannot offer the video for download, but I hope you are as excited as I am to finally get to enjoy a little bit of the game that never was.
More info to come soon!
Musical score from the lost Gremlins video game unearthed!
Hey folks, I have been waiting a long time to share this information with you all, and thank you for being so patient.
This is the first part of that awesome Gremlins news I told you would come before the end of the month regarding the unreleased Gremlins video game.

I have been in contact with a musician named Yan Volsy over the last few years and he was the composer and performer for the score that was to be used in the unreleased Gremlins video game.
The special surprise is he has given Gremlins Online permission to share his incredible work with the community! (The link is after the break)
Yan has done the music for various console and PC games over the years, including Jack The Ripper, Return to Mysterious Island, Cleopatra: A Queen’s Destiny, The Cameron Files: Secret at Loch Ness, Curse Of Atlantis, Frank Herbert’s Dune and many many more.
{Rumor Mill} More Gremlins video game footage uncovered?
One of our regular readers found this on youtube which seems to be an early stage model of a Mogwai from the Gremlins PS2/Gamecube game.
Now a few people have said this looks way too good for PS2 generation graphics, but keep in mind the CGI models are much higher resolution in development than the final product. The game was never in development as far as we at Gremlins Online are aware, for any “next gen” console (360, PS3, Wii, even DS) as the dates of development are well before this console generation’s era.
Thanks for the tips folks!
Note: I have again attempted to contact the rights holders to the Gremlins video game clip I have, and asked permission to post it here so you all may see what the game may have been like.
I will keep you all updated with any info I get!
Gremlins Online Updates: Toy Fair, Gremlins 3, Games, and more.
Heyas all!
There has been no more Gremlins 3 news, but we will kep our pointy ears open, just in case.
Toy Fair ’07 did not have anything Gremlins-related, as far as has been reported, but NECA does like to hold back some of their toys for ComiCon, so hopefully we will see the board game finally get released.
As for website updates, The Gremlins 3 section is finally up and available for your browsing pleasure. It took a lot longer than expected, but I think you will all be happy with the results.
I updated a few more of the Gremlins Online pages, correcting some general spelling errors and adding a few features here and there.
Updates:
– Added Gremlins 3 section
– Added additional images to Gremlin Invasion ride page.
– Moved the Lost Games link into the Video Games section.
– Added header art and link to arcade game video in Lost Games.
– Corrected some grammatical errors on various pages.
There will be a few new sections coming in the next month, so keep your eyes peeled, and stay out of the sunlight, because you are going to love what is is hatching in the near future here on Gremlins Online! (If only we had….a DeLorean……*wink*)
Merry Christmas!
Santa Gremlin has come early this year, with some big updates!
First, and most notably, we now have a Wallpaper section! I have gotten quite a few request to have some of the most memorable scenes in Gremlins and Gremlins 2 available for your computer background, and here is the first batch.
11 fantastic wallpapers of fanart and Gremlins 1 for you! If you look in the sidebar, you will see thumbnails of the most recent wallpapers appear there, so check them out if you see any you might like to stare at all day!
If that isn’t enough to knock your socks off, check out the new “Lost Games” section, dedicated to the never-released Playstation 2 and Gamecube Gremlins Games!
Wowzers!
I hope everyone has a great holiday and get ready for a ton more gremliny fun in 2007.
