{Rumor Mill} More Gremlins video game footage uncovered?
One of our regular readers found this on youtube which seems to be an early stage model of a Mogwai from the Gremlins PS2/Gamecube game.
Now a few people have said this looks way too good for PS2 generation graphics, but keep in mind the CGI models are much higher resolution in development than the final product. The game was never in development as far as we at Gremlins Online are aware, for any “next gen” console (360, PS3, Wii, even DS) as the dates of development are well before this console generation’s era.

Note: I have again attempted to contact the rights holders to the Gremlins video game clip I have, and asked permission to post it here so you all may see what the game may have been like.
I will keep you all updated with any info I get!

i fell worse and worse every day, this game SHOULD of had a demo, PS network has demos, and since they put demos of fully completed games, why not this. ( some demos of video games were released, but not the video game.

I also found by the same time I discovered these videos an article on a gaming site (sorry, I can’t remember where) which talked about the PS2 and Gamecube game when it was on development and it showed a picture of a different 3D model of Gizmo ( http://yfrog.com/evnews352g ) and a CG Gremlin ( http://yfrog.com/bcnews353j ).
gizmo looks old in the game cube version, but he looks like he wants to hug us in the ps2 version, and that gremlin, some body call LSP and bring back this game! i mean, we might never get a G#! some great movies with not that great squels get pre quels from the video game! ghoust busters the video game got GB 3, so why not slap this game for ps2 before they stop releasing games for the system this summer?
From who I talked to it is legit, or as according to my source…And if you compare the footage to the image of Gizmo in the box art [lower left-hand corner of the “box art pyramid”] at the top of your PS2 game section, it’s a perfect match ;P…
i hope we get to see what the game is like. lets hope that this ” new attempt” will get us at least a cutseen or some gameplay
I really wish they’d released that game. It looks like it would have been a ton of fun!
YEah but by listening to the music the it would be to cute for T, but to scary music for e-10.

So the game is still in development ?
No sadly, the company that was developing the game, Light & Shadow Productions, is no longer in business as a game developer. The entire game has been abandoned, and there is no work being done on it.
thats one of the main resons wy G 3 is not here, ghoust busters rleased a new video game and thats why their is going to be a ghoust busters 3, if the company did not go out of buisness, or passd it on o another company, we would not be here, wishing that the company didnt feck up
i agree its to good for ps2 or gamecube, so we may have sen a leaked peice of a future gremlins game, even if their is no new stuff, i am still excited
Actually if this is legit footage, (which it seems to be) it is certainly from the development of the canceled PS2/Gamecube game.
This is definitely not from any current-gen game, and there is/was none in development as far as anyone is aware.
then how can the graphic be this good? i am 6/10 sure this is fan-made
Well when a game is developed they use higher detail models than are used in the final game, often for cutscenes and cinematics.
This seems to be for the intro scene if the youtube info is to be believed.
It could be fan made but I have no reason to believe it wasn’t for the Gamecube and PS2 games in-game cinematics.
