Filmbalaya Reviews Gremlins (1984)

13 Comments Posted by on July 13, 2010

While browsing various blogs, I came across this post from about a week ago, and it is always nice to see people reviewing one of our favorite movies!

Filmbalaya recently decided to review Gremlins (1984) since Christmas is less than 6 months away and there is always time to enjoy some Gremlins and the Christmas cheer they bring.

A very brief but entertaining read, also check out their other very enjoyable movie reviews for some more  of your favorite most loved and maybe even hated films.

Snippet:

Here is a film to teach us a very important lesson in reading instructions. Before playing with your new Christmas toy, gadget, appliance, or in this case a Gizmo, one must not only pay close attention to the instructions, but follow them with meticulous care.

Hey folks,

I have noticed a lot of the commenters on here have been discussing having reserved or registered usernames to communicate back and forth. WordPress does offer this to all users free.

All you have  to do is go to http://www.wordpress.com and sign up. you don’t need to create a blog or anything, just sign up and be sure to log in before commenting in the future. You can even choose your own avatar and easily see what has been said.

Normally comments take a while to appear due to strict moderation to avoid Spam or other undesirable comments, but if you register with wordpress.com you won’t have to worry about waiting.

Just wanted to give you all a heads up!

Neil Patrick Harris is my hero. The fact he uses the “Three Rules” in regards to women makes him incredible.

Hey folks, I have been waiting a long time to share this information with you all, and thank you for being so patient.

This is the first part of that awesome Gremlins news I told you would come before the end of the month regarding the unreleased Gremlins video game.

I have been in contact with a musician named Yan Volsy over the last few years and he was the composer and performer for the score that was to be used in the unreleased Gremlins video game.

The special surprise is he has given Gremlins Online permission to share his incredible work with the community! (The link is after the break)

Yan has done the music for various console and PC games over the years, including Jack The Ripper, Return to Mysterious Island, Cleopatra: A Queen’s Destiny, The Cameron Files: Secret at Loch Ness, Curse Of Atlantis, Frank Herbert’s Dune and many many more.

The Ultra-Meta Gremlins 2 Novelization

4 Comments Posted by on May 21, 2010

Found recently online, this is a great snipped of the Gremlins 2 Novelization and a breakdown of the “film break” scene that occurs within the book.

Ok so maybe it is more of a “Hostage scenario” than a film break, but hey whichever works!
